Job Requirements

Your Impact

You will bring management and technology leadership expertise and you will:

  • Serve as senior technology leader for the mortgage business line, driving strategy and tactics to deliver industry-leading customer experience and operational efficiency across the business
  • Be a trusted partner to the mortgage executive leadership team, demonstrate the art of the possible and positively influence business strategy by highlighting opportunities to leverage technology to create value for our customers and our business
  • Act as primary leader for key strategic initiatives from inception to delivery, collaborating and interacting with technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholders along the way to ensure the desired business outcome is defined and delivered
  • Create a culture of growth and continuous improvement focused on where we want to be in the future by improving agility, optimizing processes, and improving time to market for the technology delivery model
  • Assess our current technology platforms and processes to identify opportunities to optimize, modernize and automate
  • Provide leadership and management through coaching, empowering, and facilitating teamwork for all colleagues
  • Recruit and develop our talent pool, providing challenging opportunities that enhance career growth to ensure rewarding professional experiences and succession planning
  • Drive operational excellence across our processes and platforms to maintain effective performance and business value of critical business applications
  • Work with business area leadership to proactively identify and address opportunities and risks to business value



  • Background in mortgage technology is mandatory; you’ll need deep exposure to the processes and platforms that drive the mortgage manufacturing process and enable delivery of high-quality customer experiences
  • 7 - 12 years of management and leadership experience in technology; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business and/or an advanced degree (MBA, MCS) preferred
  • Track record of working with senior leaders to articulate and operationalize a strategy for a mortgage business
  • Demonstrated success as a change agent leading significant transformational initiatives in organizations, collaborating with diverse business and technology teams to deliver solutions
  • Must be an effective communicator and considered a leader who fosters a culture of collaboration, working with a broad cross section of people to ensure ideas are shared and heard
  • Able to achieve results in a matrixed organization by setting clear goals and empowering teams
  • Experience with project management and software delivery methodologies and tools, resource planning, and forecasting
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including advanced problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to deliver on both on new strategic initiatives as well as technology operations (business continuity, performance, incident management and response)
